1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScopeGauge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. ScopeGauge is operated by ScopeGauge, Inc., a Colorado corporation.

2. Description of Service

ScopeGauge AI provides estimating tools for trade contractors. The Service generates line-item estimates from job descriptions, produces professional proposals, and provides analytics. Estimates are starting points intended to be reviewed and adjusted by qualified professionals.

3. Estimates Are Not Guarantees

AI-generated estimates are approximate and provided for reference only. ScopeGauge AI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any estimate. You are solely responsible for reviewing, adjusting, and finalizing all estimates before presenting them to clients. ScopeGauge AI is not liable for any losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated estimates.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and current information when creating your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including job descriptions, estimates, client information, and proposals. We will not share your individual data with competitors or third parties, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with other users, to reverse-engineer the AI models, or to submit fraudulent or misleading data. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScopeGauge AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
